About The Designer:
Luca Raza began making jewellery in the 1950's and he partnered with Lionel Mercier to form Raz-Mer Casting Company, primarily business to business, whereby they made castings for other jewellery brands. He went on to set up Ronnie Jewelry Company with a new partner, Stanley Conheim. In the late 60's the partners sold their company to the Certified Corporation and Stanley died shortly after.
Luca stayed on with Certified for a further six years, designing the statement pieces he is known for, made either in resin or metals. Iconic pieces are the sleepy/shy owl and a majestic elephant. He subsequently formed another company, Plaza Jewelry.
