Pat Cheney Jewellery

Silver and gold are the forte of Pat Cheney. This specialist designer utilises direct client contact, mail order and special commission as her selling channel. Winner of the goldsmiths design award Pat Cheney is a skilled jewellery designer with an impressive jewellery line consisting of exquisite pieces. Graduating fine arts form Falmouth College of Art, Pat Cheney, unveiled her first line of jewellery in 1976. Line and balance is a common feature of Pat’s jewellery and her designs are often inspired by the art-nouveau and art-deco periods. Living in Scotland has resulted in many of her lines like the ’Freyja Collection’ and ’Painting in Silk’ which drew inspiration from elemental forms. Pat works with precious metals like gold and silver that often include hot glass enamel and tiffany style. Due to the involvement of "handwork" is each and every piece in the Chene Dglass Collection comes out as unique.. The studio art glass for this collection was made by John Ditchfield at Glassform. Pat now creates simpler and three dimensional pieces. Pat Cheney was asked by Glasgow museums to create pieces of jewellery that were based on the retained works of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The Freyja Collection is hand crafted in gold, pearls and diamonds with prices ranging from hundred to a thousand pounds. Pat Cheney’s unique designs and the fact that no two pieces are the same have made Pat Cheney increasingly popular.
